Master TeenPatti – India's Three-Card Classic
Master TeenPatti is the three-card game played at every Indian festival table, and on Master Games it runs exactly the way you know it: three cards each, a boot amount to start, and a ring of players betting blind or seen until someone calls for a show. Tables seat up to five players and deal in under two seconds, so a hand rarely takes longer than a minute. Whether you prefer the plain classic game or fast variants like AK47 and Muflis, every Teen Patti table on Master Games uses a certified shuffle and clear, visible pot limits.

How to play Master TeenPatti
- Every player puts the boot amount into the pot. The dealer gives each player three cards face down.
- Play moves clockwise. You can play blind (without looking) or seen. A blind player bets the current stake; a seen player must bet double the blind stake.
- On your turn you either bet (chaal) to stay in or pack (fold). Raising is capped by the table limit.
- When only two players remain, either can ask for a show. Both hands are revealed and the higher hand takes the pot.
- If everyone else packs, the last player standing wins without a show.

Master TeenPatti variants
AK47
All Aces, Kings, 4s and 7s are jokers and can stand for any card.
Muflis
Rankings are reversed: the lowest hand wins, so 2-3-5 beats a trail of aces.
Joker
One random card is drawn as the joker for the round; all cards of that rank act as wild.
999
The hand whose card values come closest to 9-9-9 wins. Picture cards count as zero.
Hukam
A trump suit is announced before the deal; cards of that suit act as jokers.
Tips from the tables
- Play blind for the first round or two — the blind stake is half the seen stake, so it is the cheapest way to see how the table bets.
- Pack a weak seen hand early. Most Teen Patti losses come from chasing a pair against a confident blind player.
- Watch the pot limit. Once the pot reaches the table limit a show is forced, so a modest hand can win if you keep the pot small.
- Set a session budget in Account › Responsible Gaming before you sit down, not after.
Tables, stakes and timers
Public tables are grouped by boot amount from ₹2 to ₹500, and each lobby card shows the chaal limit and the pot limit. When the pot reaches its limit a show is forced, so the most you can lose in a single hand is known before you sit. Turns have a 20-second timer; a player who times out twice in a row is packed automatically and returned to the lobby. Private tables let you choose the boot, the variant and up to four friends with a share code, and use the same RNG and limits as public tables.
How fairness works in Master TeenPatti
Cards are dealt from a fresh RNG shuffle every hand, so nothing from the previous hand carries over. Every blind, seen, chaal and side-show request is recorded in the hand history for 90 days, and the game integrity team reviews any hand reported through in-app chat. Automated collusion checks flag players who repeatedly join the same table and pack in a pattern, and flagged accounts are suspended while the hands are reviewed.
Common mistakes
- Calling a show with a pair against a seen player who has raised three times. A pair is the fourth-lowest hand in the ranking.
- Going seen too early. Seen players pay double the blind stake, so look at your cards only when the pot is worth it.
- Sitting at a variant you have never played in practice. Muflis and 999 reverse every instinct from classic Teen Patti.
- Bluffing at a full five-player table. A bluff can push out one or two opponents; it rarely pushes out four.
Master TeenPatti glossary

- Side show
- A seen player's request to compare cards privately with the previous seen player; the lower hand packs.
